Community Reviews
From One State to Another State
reviewed on: 06/28/2017 by AnonymousIt is wonderful and my parents are doing great. A Place For Mom's organization did a miracle for our family. It was a super hard and I have never done this before. The move in worked great. The owner drove to Tennessee to talk with my parents. I think it is a wonderful community and we are very blessed.
Affordable safe place
reviewed on: 05/13/2021 by Lynn WWe chose The Oaks at Fairmount because I was looking for a long time and I was looking for one she could afford and we would not have to sell her house but was still nice. The Oaks fit the bill great. The room sizes are smaller and they do have shared bathrooms, but they have options depending on the mobility of the person, the better the room the more it costs. It is a smaller facility, maybe 30 residents and the owner and the administrative staff are very conscious of the furniture, it is really a nice place that has a homey feel. They decorate beautifully to match all of the seasons. One thing that they could improve on would be feeding residents' diabetic needs. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.
Cute southern style facility
reviewed on: 07/29/2021 by LindaBThe facility looked very nice and homey, but the women that was up front was slightly rude and seemed bothered I believe she was the administrator she gave me a quick tour all I could smell was Smoke because of the women giving me the tour. It just was not a good first impression. The facility did look very nice and well decorated.
This community is incredibly clean and I would live here
reviewed on: 07/27/2017 by AnonymousThe food at this community is wonderful and they offer snacks during the day. This is a smaller community and a good cost compared to others in the area. They have a Licensed practical nurse on staff as well as most of the time they have a Registered nurse. They also have a doctor that comes in to visit. They offer a lot of activities and they take the residents to church. I have already recommended this community.
RECOMMEND
reviewed on: 02/21/2019 by AnonymousGreat place for my friend who has been a resident for two years. Not fancy, but that's not what he wanted anyway. Very responsive, caring, and kind staff who some times go above and beyond. Safe, clean, and welcoming environment. I can rest well at night knowing he is living there where he's cared well for and is happy.
