After being thrown into a situation of needing somewhere for Grandma to go due to the care she was receiving, finding hacienda was a huge blessing. They have thought of literally everything you could imagine doing for your loved one and wrapped it up in a beautiful 10,000 square foot home. A wide variety of home cooked meals, individual laundry service (with sanitation between loads), help with personal care, medicine monitoring, on site nurse, activities, birthday parties, the list goes on and on. And the management staff is phenomenal. I can't say enough of the huge load lifted from my shoulders knowing she is so well taken care of.

reviewed on: 08/19/2020 by Durlinda FulkersonMy mom has vascular dementia, we were looking for a new Memory Care Community. I met with [name removed] in March 2020. She provided me with all the information on Hacienda Del Rey. She and the staff I met were very warm and friendly. As we toured Hacienda, we were greeted by so many friendly staff members who were very open and responsive to our questions. Unfortunately, due to COVID 19 we were forced to wait until late May to move mom. [name removed] and the management team had arranged to have the maintenance manager help with the move in. To our surprise when we arrived not only was the maintenance manager there the caregivers also quickly jumped in and began helping bring in boxes and furniture. The caregivers from Hacienda went out of their way to welcome mom to her new home. The thing I like most is the staff members and management really do care about the residents. We are very happy we found Hacienda Del Rey and would recommend them to others who need special care for their loved ones.
Wonderful Care for Mom
reviewed on: 10/20/2021 by Frank PierceIn early 2020, we searched city wide for a memory care facility for my mother. Hacienda Del Rey stood out as the best "by far." After moving Mom to Hacienda in March, 2020 she immediately settled in as if she's always been there. When she has medical issues the staff calls me and discusses treatment options. While she was battling covid-19 the staff called me daily and helped us to video chat with Mom during quarantine. It was very clear to our entire family that the care takers treat her as their grandmother. One specific moment that we will never forget was when we were visiting Mom through the window during quarantine and talking through the window on the phone. Mom was using the caretaker's personal phone and as we spoke, the girl was twirling Mom's hair with her finger like she would with a loved one of her own. She made Mom feel so warm and comfortable even though she could not understand why we were separated by a window. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place.
Excellent experience
reviewed on: 09/25/2020 by Linda MDad was at a nursing home for 3 1/2 years. Moved him to HDR in May 2020. Even though I’m not seeing him do to COVID-19, he is so much happier here. As am I!!!! Very responsive and professional!!!!

They offer great care to the residents. I cannot say enough about this place. I also wanted to thank A Place for Mom for referring us to this community.
