reviewed on: 08/20/2020 by LaRae WeikertWe are so pleased that our mom is living at Hacienda Del Rey. The caregivers and staff are exceptional and we feel she is well cared for in this community. We resonate with the philosophy of care for residents with dementia and feel so blessed to have found a facility that focuses on each individual and their needs. We're especially grateful for the good communication during the Covid-19 pandemic and appreciate all of the efforts that Gretchen and her leadership team have made to provide a safe environment for our family members.

reviewed on: 04/12/2021 by anonymousWe chose Hacienda Del Ray because it had more of a home-like feeling because they are separated into 9 casibas with 8-9 bedrooms. Then they have a kitchen dining and living room area in each one, so it is an easier transition coming from a house. My mom needed memory care as well and they placed her with other residents who had similar needs. They are great with communication, we get emails, texts, newsletters, etc. They always keep us up date on everything. We are very happy with our choice.

They really worked with our schedule and we had a great experience, but it was not the best fit for my father. We wanted something with more personal one on one care.
Look into this place, beautiful facility
reviewed on: 03/18/2021 by April CI am very happy with Hacienda Del Rey. We chose this facility because of the cleanliness, it is only a 2 years old. Everything is very modern and up to date and it does not smell at all. They have different sections as well and then a main area where residents can meet, I like the way it is set up. The rooms sizes here are a little on the smaller side for the price. The administrative staff is great, they are good with communication whether it is emails or phone calls and they also have a lot of patience. My dad said during the week when the regular chef is cooking the food is great, but during the weekend they change chefs and it is not as good. I would recommend them to others looking.

She provided me with all the information on Hacienda Del Rey. She and the staff I met were very warm and friendly. As we toured Hacienda, we were greeted by so many friendly staff members who were very open and responsive to our questions. Unfortunately, due to COVID 19 we were forced to wait until late May to move mom. [name removed] and the management team had arranged to have the maintenance manager help with the move in. To our surprise when we arrived not only was the maintenance manager there the caregivers also quickly jumped in and began helping bring in boxes and furniture. The caregivers from Hacienda went out of their way to welcome mom to her new home. The thing I like most is the staff members and management really do care about the residents. We are very happy we found Hacienda Del Rey and would recommend them to others who need special care for their loved ones.
