reviewed on: 07/21/2017 by AnonymousI took my grandfather to The Citadel last week and our tour guide was very informative and very personable! My grandpa was very comfortable with opening up to her about his issues which I was surprised. The place seemed to be very active, clean and staff was friendly. I was going to ask a few residents how they liked living there and they told me they loved it and that he should move in before me even asking lol. The independent apartments were very large and the price was very affordable. I got all my questions answered and the tall blonde marketing lady even helped me out with VA info, movers and a realtor she almost convinced me to move in lol. I hope my grandpas house sells fast,we will be moving him in as soon as it sells! Thank you again for being so kind to both of us~

reviewed on: 08/17/2017 by AnonymousThe Citadel is a beautiful and large community. They keep the inside and outside well-maintained and very clean. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to all of us when we come to visit. My sister in law is very happy with her large two bedrooms, it is exactly what she wanted and she is very happy living there. The dining room is really nice and elegant and the food is excellent. There are all kinds of activities and amenities. She has not had a chance to engage in all that they provide. I would highly recommend The Citadel to friends and family.

reviewed on: 03/03/2021 by anonymousEverybody here has been very friendly and helpful. We chose The Citadel because they were running a special at the time and we got a locked in rate. It is also very convenient for me. They have been pretty good with communication, I do get emails frequently. It has been hard not being able to go inside yet, but I would recommend to others looking.
