Needs Improvement...
reviewed on: 01/10/2017 by AnonymousWhen we went in for a tour of The Citadel, we went in on a Saturday, so they said there was not a tour guide to take us around. When we walked into the dining room, it was very dark and kind of dirty. From the little bit we saw, it would not have been a good fit for my mother.
Great option when you can't live on your own
reviewed on: 11/10/2018 by JOMy friend Di moved into The Citadel at the end of July 2018. She is pleased to be there & feels safe & secure. She says the food there is good & the dining room is lovely. A comfortable place to live when you can no longer live on your own.
Poor Communication!!
reviewed on: 08/08/2016 by AnonymousIt is very hard to know what is happening to my mother in this community if i don't call. The staff has very poor communication with me i got to speak with one person they were very rude. The price that we are paying is not very good for the services we are receiving. There is some remodeling going on but the community is still being kept clean. My mother likes the food.
Disappointing and could be better
reviewed on: 06/12/2019 by TJ OwenMy dad was left on a toilet for a half hour. He decided to get up and go back to bed without help and fell. That should not happen. Hire enough help to cover the capacity of the facility. Most of the nurses are too busy to help as well. There is only one that makes the visits there worth it and she can’t be there all the time. The aides try their best but there are just not enough of them when there are three of them and 6-7 lights go off at any given time.
He Enjoyed His One Week There
reviewed on: 01/23/2017 by AnonymousWhen I need a place for my dad while I went out of town, this community is available. It all went well and he did not complain about his visit. I only came across the manager I was dealing with had left when I got my dad there but the new manager followed through with what we agreed to. He told me it went well and I would use them for a respite again.
