Wonderful place!
reviewed on: 01/15/2014 by DaughterEveryone here was great! The staff are all very friendly and very caring. My Dad was not the easiest patient to work with, and they did a great job with him. They were also always very kind to my Mom when she would go in to visit.
Amazing

Your off to the beach now mom!
reviewed on: 05/06/2015 by Baby Girl 1My mother has been a resident at Desert Flower since 2009. She passed away in April 2015. Through the years there have been many changes and I can honestly say 2013 to mid 2014 had some interesting challenges to be cautiously nice. In December 2014 I was invited to attend a care conference and honestly expected the worse for my first initial meeting with the new managers. To my surprise I honestly was so impressed it almost felt like the earth halted. Wow finally they actually know my mother. They understand her needs and they care about her. To my surprise it was not just a 1 day tell me what I want to hear but change nothing as I expected. The care my mother received the last 5 months was completely 100% nothing short of amazing. My mother spent the last months of her life the best possible way. The director actually curled her hair and did her make up the last 2 days of her life. This may seem minor but if you knew mom you would understand how much this would mean to her. Thank you to these people for loving mom as I did. Thank you for helping us in this difficult time with all your heart. Shannon, Edwin, Tiffany, Nancy, Sophia and so many more will always have a place in our hearts.
Desert Flower has a homey atmosphere!!
reviewed on: 06/13/2016 by AnonymousMy brother is settling in well at this community. The food is good and the staff really try to please you. They do offer activities however he has not been able to participate in any. The community is clean and well taken care of. I would recommend this community. They only thing I would say is that I feel they need more skilled nursing staff.
