Community Reviews
I Enjoy Living Here
reviewed on: 08/11/2017 by AnonymousI really like the community and I am comfortable. When I first walked in here, I liked it instantly. I am very close to my family. The meals are good and I have to be on a low sodium diet. The chef is good at working and helping me, he is super. I talk with him when I get the weekly menu and he helps know what not to eat and we pick a substitution instead. The staff are all very nice and pleasant. I don't have any complaints. I'm listed as independent and everything is working out fine. If I need help, they are here to help.
Review of Solana at The Park
reviewed on: 10/18/2019 by Russ W.I feel very comfortable here, lots of medical assistance if needed. I love my apartments. Food is good and you can get whatever you want anytime of day.
Very large facility
reviewed on: 10/24/2017 by AnonymousWhen I first walked in I was amazed at how large the facility was. The lobby itself was about 3 stories tall. I ruled it out quickly because I just felt like it would be too large for my mom. She might have gotten lost there. The front desk personnel who gave me my tour was very nice. The facility looked very nice and clean. The dining hall was more of a restaurant with how big it is. The rooms were nice sized for a studio apartment. And for the activities they offer about the same as other places like having someone come in to play the piano or sing, arts and crafts, and entertainment that come in. Their activity calendar looked pretty full when I saw it. I would recommend this community.
Friendly staff members
reviewed on: 12/22/2020 by Megan WhiteWe chose this facility because I thought it was a bit more quaint, it did not smell when I walked in here, and they led me to believe they were geared more towards veterans. I did think they would have more veteran activities but I did not really see that. Their head nurse here, she is amazing and is available after hours if we needed anything. They were also very helpful with setting me up with the hospice services. They were just really good to my dad. I would recommend to others looking.
Need to be more self sufficient
reviewed on: 09/12/2017 by AnonymousWe had a nice tour of the Park Wood Retirement Community. It was a beautiful, clean and well-kept community. The staff was friendly and helpful providing information regarding their community. They fed us lunch and gave a nice presentation. The residents here need to be more self-sufficient and our loved one needed more care and assistance.
