Community Reviews
Tapestry is fabulous!
reviewed on: 12/27/2016 by AnonymousTapestry at Wesbrook is a lovely facility. Warm, competent staff take care of your every need, going above & beyond the call of duty. You feel like you are part of the community from the moment you arrive. Respite care at Tapestry is done with total commitment to your comfort & needs. I felt safe & cared for. The food is excellent. One orders from an extensive & carefully prepared menu of beautifully presented gourmet meals. The entire facility is tastefully decorated & comfortably functional. My stay at Tapestry was so perfect in so many ways, that I am considering making it home, when we can no longer care for our acreage.
Food Service
reviewed on: 05/07/2020 by ian shawI regret I cannot echo the superb review of Dec 2016. I am referring to the period prior to the Covid19 upset. The Food Service, quality and variety had deteriorated to a very unsatisfactory level and there appears to be no intention on behalf of Management to attempt to recover to the previous standards of excellence. Chefs come and go, new Managers and Assistant Managers appear in the dining room, chat nicely to Residents, promise changes, but nothing happens, presumably because "Upper Management" does not approve, perhaps because of budget limitations. The current "Executive Chef" does not have a very illuminating background regarding past employment. I wonder, did he or anyone else in the kitchen achieve the Red Seal Cook certificate as sponsored by the Federal Government. Only then, can they apply to a Culinary Institute for Chef Certification.
