Community Reviews
Regents Point Gives New Meaning to the Word "Community"
reviewed on: 12/31/2014 by AnonymousRegents Point has a great reputation, and is well known in the local area. The central location and the lovely grounds make it an attractive place to live. My parents and other family members toured the community, and were so impressed with the lunch in the dining room (huge variety of menu items), the floor plans and customization of the apartments and villas, and the overall friendliness of the residents and staff. We received a warm welcome everywhere we went. My parents never thought this kind of lifestyle would be a good fit for them, but after touring Regents Point and meeting so many interesting people, they said they could see why this community would be a great place to live. Regents Point offers security, comfort, companionship and compassionate care. Not only does a resident have the opportunity to build a support network within the community, but one's quality of life is enhanced by this environment. There are so many resident committees and activities to get involved in, if one chooses. There are also many residents who continue involvement with organizations in the local area, including volunteer work and affiliation with UCI. Regents Point is a great place!
I Left the Tour With More Knowledge
reviewed on: 02/07/2017 by AnonymousWe meet with a gentleman who did fine job showing us all the community has to offer. During the tour I noticed that he was very education and gave me useful information. This was a larger community and I was looking for the coziest place. The florescent lighting that was there felt like it was institutional.
My Mom's move to Regents
reviewed on: 11/12/2015 by LauraMy Mom enjoys it. She just moved in, at the end of September, and has become a part of a friendly community. The apartment is roomy and well designed. The staff customized her space just for my Mom. Even without upgrades, the move in was very smooth for her. Mom enjoys the activities, her warm welcome and the food is great too - and very healthy. The community is not too big and not claustrophobic either. The location is gorgeous and there are beautiful parks nearby. She finds her fellow residents warm, intelligent and engaging - and happy. My Mom feels safe and secure and already has different small "jobs" (like working a few hours in the library) in the community, which she enjoys. Only criticism would be: the lack of guest parking at times, and they won't allow dogs in the apartments. If that changed, then it would be perfection. We recommend Regents Point and feel we made the right decision.
Excellent Senior Facilities

Regent's Point Is Special for Both of Us
reviewed on: 08/08/2018 by ToddMy mom has been living there since May. It really is a wonderful place. There is nothing she needs that they don't have. She complains that if there is a medical issue the nursing staff is too attentive?!?! What a complaint, right? She needs something to complain about. the food is really good and healthy and I have joined her for a meal which was really tasty. The staff is top notch. They put up with a lot and always with quick responses and a smile. They even have specialists who can help with unique issues like anxiety and that type of thing. My mom doesn't swim or play golf but, I wish she did both. Because the facilities are so nice, I would live there and do both. The residents are a good mix of intellectual and worldly and kind and welcoming. I know RP doesn't necessarily edit for that but, the kind of folks who find this place are special too. The apartment is beautiful and the service they have to help move you out of your old place and in to the new is SO helpful. Again, she complained they didn't put everything away in the right drawers. But, they put every single thing away so the place wouldn't just be filled with boxes. They hung pictures, they connected the TV and computer, it was incredible. They came and planted outside her patio and that is pretty now as well. This place is almost magical. So nice. I am so grateful as an only child who doesn't live right in town. The relief and sense of support I get from Regent's Point is worth the price of admission alone. And seeing mom happy, is of course priceless.
