Community Reviews
Staff are very good!!
reviewed on: 08/28/2017 by AnonymousMy loved one was at this community for a short period of time and we where very pleased with how things had went for her. The staff where kind and I was comfortable with the quality of care she received. She had no complaints about the meals and enjoyed participating in some of the activities with the other residents. The facility was kept clean every time I visited which I was impressed with. Overall we where happy and would recommend it to anyone.
Expectation unmet.
reviewed on: 09/11/2015 by Carolyn ChianeseI was very impressed with the campus, gardens and facilities. Mom was entered at a level 3 out of 4 care and I was given a list of care that would come with the plan, however, after visiting my mother nightly, I have not had my expectations met. In particular, they missed 1 our of two showers promised and are not changing/checking her diaper 3 x a day. When I addressed the nurse, staff and director, I was told "mother" did not deem these needs necessary at the time. Guess What, she is in early dementia and is going to say, "I don't need my diaper changed". The care givers should disregard and simply tell her that "this is what we are doing". The escorts to dinning have ceased and I just hope her monthly cost will come down in light of this.
Sad but True
reviewed on: 02/09/2019 by Brad PhillipsYes our mother was there 4 years until while being pushed in a wheel chair in her room put her feet down and went head first to the floor out of the wheel chair. I couldn't believe the care giver could not grab her, how fast can you go in a small room? Any way huge lump on her head, next day throwing up, then went into a coma and died 11 days later at a hospice house. Mom had some dementia but was in good health, and was on no medications. perfect blood pressure. Never received any report on the accident. Not even a sympathy card. They raised her monthly fees $250.00 a month every year, so get a long term price at signing, because they will raise it every year. Where ever your loved one is, you must show up and be her advocate!! We are checking into all avenues of recourse so this never happens to anyone else.
Looked very nice
reviewed on: 03/13/2014 by M RI toured this location when I was looking into care options for my loved one. This was a very nice looking community, and I was impressed by the tour. The person who showed me around was very friendly, and the food they served for lunch was good. However, this was a much more "comprehensive" style community, and would have provided a lot of care that my loved one didn't really need at this point, and the price reflected this, it was much more expensive.
