I love that they feel everyone is family and they are treated with the love, respect and dignity they deserve. They have my mom’s best interest at heart and it gives me such peace of mind that my mom is well taken care of I’d give you them 10 starts if I could!!!!

This facility was a perfect fit for our family member as well as our budget. The facility is clean, and very well run with friendly staff. There are a number of activities available even for someone with advanced alzheimers who is difficult at times to control. The grounds are well manicured and the atmosphere is cheerful and calming. Laundry services are included in the price, however You will need to provide all bedroom furniture and linens. The cost is a little higher if the patient is incontinent.

The 2 directors were incredibly helpful and very clear in describing the services they provide. They always allowed ample time to talk, and were very attentive in answering all our questions. Most of all, they related to our situation, made an immediate personal connection, and had great compassion for what we were experiencing with Alzheimers. And that gave us great comfort that we could actually find the right kind of care for our loved one who was in a critical spot. They were organized, responsive, and up to date with technical communication methods. We never felt any pressure or sales pitch. And we were comforted by their desire to genuinely get to know, and serve the needs of each resident (and their family)-at whatever point in their journey they are on. While it's only been a few days since our loved one has lived at Pacifica, we are hopeful that the experience living there is as positive as our introduction has been.

reviewed on: 10/07/2020 by Jessica HMy family had a really hard time coming to terms with moving my mom from her home. She still believed that she was able to care for herself, but she could not. We looked at many communities, what we like about Somerford Place of Northridge is that she does not have to be in the memory care with all the people that have really advanced dementia. She still feels independent but we know that she is being helped when she needs help. She is loving all the interaction with others, that was something that she missed living at home alone. Also everyone sincerely cares.
