A good fit
reviewed on: 10/23/2013 by Norine JamesonI moved my mother to Pacifica one month ago. She is 100 years old with psychotic dementia. It was difficult to find a god fit for her that we could also afford. Pacifica if very affordable and provides a wide range of memory and dementia care. I am probably very hard to please as I spent many years working in this business/industry and I am very devoted to my mother. So I realize very sadly that no place is perfect but I am very involved and work very hard to see that her needs are met as well as possible. The staff at Pacifica is very friendly and loving and I have a good working relationship with them and the changes I have seen in my mother since she moved here are remarkable to say the least. She is much more lucid and smiling and responsive than she has been for a long time and I attribute this to a wonderful activity program and staff and also all other staff and caregivers who stop and talk to residents and interact cheerfully and pleasantly with them at all times.
So accommodating
reviewed on: 06/06/2013 by LoriI chose Pacifica Senior Living because I had been there before and talked to Stacy and it was also referred by A Place For Mom. They are also located very close to my house. The staff has been so accommodating, anytime I ask for anything they are on it. I've made some new friends with some of the residents. The first day I took my mom to check out Pacifica I recognized one of the residents as my former Brownie Leaders which I thought felt like good karma for us. I would do a commercial praising Pacifica and A Place For Mom if they asked, both have been great.
