reviewed on: 12/17/2012 by A Place For Mom Customerolder building, small rooms (just closet,bath,bed/sitting area),very small patio/balcony areas. Patios not private. Monthly cost doesn't include as much. Weekly housekeeping, linen changes and program activities appear to be extra costs.
Disorganized and unprofessional.
reviewed on: 03/21/2016 by AnonymousHollybrook is very disorganized. Each person gave me a different story of what was going on and why my Father needed to move from there. The way they handled it was not good and I could not get a straight answer. The staff is very sweet and young, but unprofessional. They lost both pairs of his glasses and his headphones and we didn't find out until his last day there when we picked him up to move him. There is a communication problem. The activities were fine. There's no direct access for them to go outside on their own. It's a sterile environment. I was happy with A Place For Mom and their help.
very pleased
reviewed on: 05/29/2015 by AnonymousThey are very friendly, and they do an excellent job caring for my father who has dementia. They handle him very well. They told me that it would probably take him about six weeks to get settled in and comfortable there, and they were right as he is in that phase of it now. They have been very helpful and I am very pleased with them.
Mis-Quoted the Care Charges
reviewed on: 09/24/2013 by GranddaughterThey were very friendly at first but they really underpriced the care services when I asked what the maximum amount I would pay in care charges would be. The first said $500 and then later they quoted us at $1500 and that was a couple of days before we were getting ready to move my grandmother in. I called a couple of times about this and asked them to call me back right away. They never called me back. I was very disappointed in their response.
So far so good.
