Very homey environment
reviewed on: 02/10/2017 by AnonymousWe loved this community when we toured! It had a very homey atmosphere. I loved that they had pets and children come in weekly to visit with the residents. They even had activities with the children who came to visit. I wanted to move my mother here but they unfortunately didn't have any openings.

The care services and activities available are excellent. My Mom is extremely happy there. We made a great choice!
Some Improvements Needed
reviewed on: 12/07/2017 by AnonymousOverall, our experience at Hollybook has been decent, but there are some things that could use improvements. When we were looking to move in, the people there went out of their way to understand what kind of care my loved one would need when he was released from the hospital. Now that we are there, the staff is still friendly and helpful with the residents, but they are not very good at responding to the families. The rooms there are also kind of small, and the location is not very good. The facility is nice and clean though, and the residents seem fine with what they get as far as the food is concerned.

All of the staff including the housekeeping , administration, maintenance, activity director, and the servers have all been absolutely amazing at making sure my mothers needs are being met. My mom was only at this place for a month period while I went out of town and she did not want to leave. She plans to move there permanently when she will need long term assisted living. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a five star establishment.
