AG is a place of tranquility, happiness, HOME.
reviewed on: 06/09/2016 by klAlexander Gardens is by far the most peaceful, beautiful, and friendly place I've seen. My mom loved being there, and the staff went above and beyond to make Mom feel at home. The grounds are the most beautiful and tranquil and amazing that I've seen in any other resident facility that I visited.

reviewed on: 12/27/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerThis is a VERY beautiful property in a great location with just gorgeous gardens and lots of patios, but the rooms all smelled very musty and they have very old wall heaters in the rooms. This would really limit where to place furniture. Also, no air conditioning and the only way from the rooms we would have been interested only have outdoor access to the activity area and dining room.
A special place in Santa Barbara
reviewed on: 11/11/2021 by BradIt is a lovely facility. It is an older estate donated by the family years ago to be an assisted living home. It almost could operate as a bed and breakfast, it is that nice. A couple of things we learned that we did not know going in is having a local owner on site 50% of the time is absolutely wonderful rather than being corporate run. Having only 30 beds is wonderful, residents get much more personalized care than they might at a larger facility. The cons to these things may be your loved one going may have a a chance of not connecting with other residents since there are less people. We are extremely happy with our experience and would highly recommend them to others looking to others in the area.
