Community Reviews
Thank you for all that you do.
reviewed on: 04/15/2020 by K A GreaneyDear Karen, I want to take a moment to reach out to you to thank you and your staff for all that you are doing to keep my dad and the other residents safe during the COVID19 outbreak. As you know, it was only a little over a month or so after my dad, Richard Provost, began residing in the Independent Care section of Pacifica when we began to see that the virus was going to significantly impact everyone—especially the elderly. From the outset, you took every measure to keep him safe. And, I can’t begin to tell you how reassuring your emails, phone calls, and texts were. No matter how busy you undoubtedly were, you took the time to let me know the procedures that were being put in place. And it made me feel less scared for my dad. Also, I’d like to extend a huge shout out to Lorie Mauritzen. She makes a great first impression to all who enter Pacifica. My dad loves her! Lorie is always smiling, always helpful, always a pleasure to chat with. My dad truly appreciates his “personal team” : Carmen, Rowena, Nomarie and Carol. He tells me every week how clean Carmen keeps his room. “Oh, yeah, she does a great job.” And the others help him fill out his menu, take his daily temp, laugh and chat with him. All their interactions with him are so very important as he cannot see or hang out with his new friends at Pacifica. He tells me their stories, and how they are so friendly. While I feel sad that I cannot visit my dad and take him on outings, at least I know he is safe and well taken care of. And, for that, I am beyond grateful to you and your entire staff. YOU ARE ALL HEROES! Thank you all for putting your health on the line to protect my dad and the other residents. Stay safe, be well. Karen Greaney
Caretakers came by to check while I was visiting
reviewed on: 01/24/2015 by AnonymousBoth my mother and father moved into Rancho Vista about a month ago, as the community they were in was not able to provide memory care for my mother. Rancho Vista is very clean, staff members are very friendly and even came by to check on my parents while I was visiting. We were waiting for cable services to come, so the caretakers went to the dining room and brought back food for us -- we all felt that was terrific. Both receive help with medication management, which is great. While this community is more expensive than their previous one, I feel that they will get the care needed and are safe and secure. My father is very happy with the food. My parents have not participated in activities as of yet, but there are many. There is transportation service there as well for outings, doctors' appointments, etc. The only downside is visitor parking, which is very limited. Parking for residents is fine. Overall, I'm happy with the decision to have my mother and father move into this really nice community.

Review of Pacifica Senior Living Vista
reviewed on: 02/11/2020 by Connie TallonI presently reside in this community. It is wonderful. The attention and care given to the residents is the best. Activities are numerous and cover the entire spectrum of residents. The staff, what can I say, the best and only the best. Knowledgeable, caring, and always working with the residents.
Great Place for those needing Assisted Living
reviewed on: 02/05/2019 by Daughter of a ResidentI put my mother in Pacifica in the fall, She has improved Enormously! She is up, using a walker, going to activities, eating and happy. Prior to going to Pacifica, she was barely walking, home bound, barely eating and unhappy with life, Her life is so much better then I ever imagined it would be. Everyone who sees her is amazed by the improvement. I know there would be activities at Pacific, but they are so many more then I knew. Everyday the residents are given a schedule of activities they can participate in, if they choose- exercise classes, learning classes, bus trips, bingo, happy hours, manicures, massages, movie nights, and more. The pricing is extremely reasonable compared to over facilities. It is a wonderful!!! I highly recommend Pacifica, Senior Living Vista. Wonderful director, nurses, and staff.
