Review of Pacifica Vista
reviewed on: 03/20/2020 by Marda VaughnI appreciate all the work being done on campus to update the facility! It is recognized! I also appreciate how the staff gets to know the residents so personally. It's comforting to know others bring a smile to my dad's face.
I didn't get to go inside because the marketing director didn't return my calls.
reviewed on: 01/21/2014 by DaughterI didn't get to go inside because the marketing director didn't return my calls. I saw the outside of the building and it looked nice, it was a little choppy, as far as getting from the apartment to the dining and activity areas. If it was rainy weather it was tricky for resident to get to the dining room, or at least under an overhang so that was kind of a compromise. They were average but better than a lot of the others in price. It was ok. They didn't have a 2 bed available at the time that we needed it, and I had a hard time getting the marketing director to call me back, so I didn't pursue them.
Great
reviewed on: 09/04/2020 by AnonymousDuring this pandemic, the staff at Pacifica Vista has finally found a balance between keeping everyone safe, and allowing friends and family quality visit time. I can’t thank them enough for doing so much for the seniors living there.
Caretakers came by to check while I was visiting
reviewed on: 01/24/2015 by AnonymousBoth my mother and father moved into Rancho Vista about a month ago, as the community they were in was not able to provide memory care for my mother. Rancho Vista is very clean, staff members are very friendly and even came by to check on my parents while I was visiting. We were waiting for cable services to come, so the caretakers went to the dining room and brought back food for us -- we all felt that was terrific. Both receive help with medication management, which is great. While this community is more expensive than their previous one, I feel that they will get the care needed and are safe and secure. My father is very happy with the food. My parents have not participated in activities as of yet, but there are many. There is transportation service there as well for outings, doctors' appointments, etc. The only downside is visitor parking, which is very limited. Parking for residents is fine. Overall, I'm happy with the decision to have my mother and father move into this really nice community.
They Do a Nice Job
reviewed on: 12/07/2017 by AnonymousMy loved one was at Rancho Vista for respite care, and overall, I feel that they do a really nice job there. The community is clean, and the staff is very caring. They have about a 1:6 nurse to resident ratio there, which is pretty good. The food is good here as well. I would recommend them for those with an average budget.
