Review of Pacifica Vista
reviewed on: 04/21/2020 by AlmaMy mother [name removed] has been a resident of Pacifica. Our family could not be happier with her very attentive and compassionate care. From the front desk, nurses, med techs, caregivers, dining room staff, maintenance workers and housekeeping ~ all are very dedicated hard working as well as very personable and efficient. There are far too many individuals to point out specifically, so suffice to say that the entire staff is dedicated and compassionate. Knowing our mother is getting such great care, we are put at ease. Especially now with the Covid-19 crisis, it is quite apparent they are taking a very serious approach to making sure all residents are safe and protected. The quality of care and upkeep of the facility and apartments is stellar compared to other facilities our mother has resided in. Thanks to [name removed] the Executive Director who personally answers questions immediately and takes action. Her staff respects her and she takes a personal interest in each resident as well as their family. Should you need any additional information or input, please do not hesitate to ask. Many thanks and appreciation goes to Pacifica’s entire staff. Our family is truly grateful!
2nd choice
reviewed on: 11/20/2017 by AnonymousIt was a good tour the lady who did it was warm and very informative. She answered all of my questions. The memory care was divided into 3 units with maybe 7 residents and there is a possibility of no interaction with people the way that was set up. It was a clean and nice community. This was in the running for our 2nd place to choose. But we did go elsewhere.

Great place, dad loved it! A few issues...
reviewed on: 08/27/2021 by Lucy WI wouldn’t change a thing about our decision of this care home for my dad. He loved the place and the food! The choice was incredible and the chef amazing! The grounds and rooms are like a hotel. They have all kinds of activities all day and even day trips out daily! He didn’t even want to go home. The coffee room and snacks are great! The price is very cheap compared to others in the county! The issues: we were told that there was a top limit that we wouldn’t pay over if he went to memory care, but months later, we had to pay 300 more than were told. Wish they would have given us a list of things to furnish his room. Staff washed his phone and we couldn’t call him during the pandemic and had to ask staff if we could use their phones which was MOSTLY okay, but difficult! They didn’t tell us we could have a window visit until a couple days before he went unfortunately. Then when he left us, the nurse told us in a very blunt fashion. :( But we still wouldn’t change our decision.
