Great place, dad loved it! A few issues...
reviewed on: 08/27/2021 by Lucy WI wouldn’t change a thing about our decision of this care home for my dad. He loved the place and the food! The choice was incredible and the chef amazing! The grounds and rooms are like a hotel. They have all kinds of activities all day and even day trips out daily! He didn’t even want to go home. The coffee room and snacks are great! The price is very cheap compared to others in the county! The issues: we were told that there was a top limit that we wouldn’t pay over if he went to memory care, but months later, we had to pay 300 more than were told. Wish they would have given us a list of things to furnish his room. Staff washed his phone and we couldn’t call him during the pandemic and had to ask staff if we could use their phones which was MOSTLY okay, but difficult! They didn’t tell us we could have a window visit until a couple days before he went unfortunately. Then when he left us, the nurse told us in a very blunt fashion. :( But we still wouldn’t change our decision.
truly phenomenal!
reviewed on: 06/11/2015 by AnonymousMy mother is not the same person that I put in there. She has improved so much! I even took her to a urologist recently and the urologist was amazed at how much she has improved. The nursing staff and the caregivers are outstanding. They really take great care of the her. I have already told my son that when it's my time, Rancho Vista is where I want to go. It is a safe & secure place and the people there are phenomenal. I toured a few facilities, and Rancho Vista is by far the best. I literally had tears in my eyes when I first toured, thinking "there is no way this place is as good as you're saying" but it truly has been!
2nd choice
reviewed on: 11/20/2017 by AnonymousIt was a good tour the lady who did it was warm and very informative. She answered all of my questions. The memory care was divided into 3 units with maybe 7 residents and there is a possibility of no interaction with people the way that was set up. It was a clean and nice community. This was in the running for our 2nd place to choose. But we did go elsewhere.
WONDERFUL
reviewed on: 12/19/2017 by AnonymousThis place is wonderful. I wish I had found them when I first brought mom to California two years ago. The people are wonderful and there is no limit to the amount of assistance available. The food is out of this world and there are tons of quality activities.
Compassionate And Attentive
reviewed on: 03/19/2015 by AnonymousEverything they do are really good and compassionate. The dining room is beautiful and her room is also very nice and clean. The only complaint I have about the place is that some residents are wanderers
