Community Reviews
Good tour
reviewed on: 08/03/2017 by AnonymousSunrise of Woodland Hills was a very nice and clean community that we toured. It had a very homey atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We chose another community based on my parents being able to transition into memory care.
Best memory care
reviewed on: 09/24/2018 by Abtin ForooharAn amazing place with great caretakers and truly compassionate team . Leadership folks are exceptional . They took great care of my dad . As a doctor myself I was very impressed and could not ask for more . Financially very honest and transparent . Never tried to drive price up . Highly recommend this place .
Feels more like home
reviewed on: 12/01/2017 by AnonymousMy mom was here for a while and it was fine. The staff seemed okay, they just weren’t as interactive with her as I would’ve liked but I don’t really have anything negative to report. My sisters tried the food and they said that it was excellent. It seemed like the cleanliness of the facility was fine. It seemed well taken care of. The building itself seemed okay, it didn’t look run down or anything. Ultimately we chose this place because it seemed like more of a home atmosphere than just a facility.
Very nice, but did not provide the care we needed
reviewed on: 01/13/2014 by Loved oneThis is a location we toured when looking into options for my loved one. Both of the Sunrise communities we looked at were very very nice looking, and also very expensive. The care my loved one required was beyond what they could provide here, but if I were looking into options for myself I would definitely be interested in Sunrise.
4 Stars
reviewed on: 11/28/2017 by AnonymousI would recommend this location to other families. The staff is absolutely knowledgeable and friendly. They do a good job so far assisting my loved ones. Their cleanliness is good too. Housekeeping helps change out their sheets once a week or when needed and they offer to assist with laundry as well. The food there is fine, my loved ones say that they love the soups that they make and they are happy with it. There menu has one or two options that change daily and if you do not like what is offered you can order off the set menu. They also have activities that the residents can participate in. In their memory care facility they have activities that are specifically tailored for people with dementia and are geared toward their compatibility.
