Community Reviews
Comfort For Dad!!
reviewed on: 09/19/2016 by AnonymousThe Canterbury Gardens has been providing satisfying services for my father. The housekeeping is doing a good job maintaining his room and the whole community clean. One of the most important things is that he is safe. There is one service that could be better, and that would be the meals. The meals need more taste and the portions need to be a little bigger.
Wonderful Staff!!
reviewed on: 12/06/2016 by AnonymousI have been very pleased with the care that my mother has been receiving at this community, The staff have been absolutely wonderful and really have made sure my mom has felt comfortable and welcomed in her new living environment. The business manager and the nurse Gina have been especially kind to all of my family. The only complaint my mother has is there could be some improvements made on the food, she said they are hit or miss. Overall this place is fantastic and really does a great job with using all the resources they have available to them to make the community great.
Care and Communication
reviewed on: 01/11/2017 by Linda B.My mom is in this community. I think that they should. Dr is not talking to her. Left messages and calls are not being returned. I can not find someone at the front desk. She has not been there long. They are taking money our of her account, which is not suppose to happen. My mom is not happy with the meals that she is offered. The community is clean and the staff is very nice. It seems like there are a lot of communication issues here. I am not able to get anyone to return my calls. They do not have a lot of activities that are available. They need a patient advocate to see what her needs are. They do not offer a lot of socialization within the community. I think that this is a nice community, but there is a lack of communication. I suggest families consider a tour before moving in a loved one.
Caring People!!
reviewed on: 07/07/2017 by AnonymousI had recently had a tour of this community for my loved one and I was pleased with how things went. It ended up not being the right fit for my mother due to the fact that they do not except long term medicaid after her funds run out. They had a nice open floor plan and everything was very clean. The staff where also very kind and knowledgeable in everything they had to offer.
Going well
reviewed on: 02/11/2016 by AnonymousThings are going well. I am almost amazed that things are going so well. She said the food was good, but not as good as mine. For her, things are going remarkably well. Thank you to A Place For Mom for all your help. I appreciate it.
