Mostly good, but....
reviewed on: 10/19/2016 by HillaryMy mother just moved into Mountain Laurel. Initially the marketing person and nurse were super friendly and really kind and understanding. Given it was such a stressful transition for me and mom, I really appreciated their reassurance. Creating a care plan was done a little too casually I thought, considering how much we pay for it. I don't think the nurse really did a thorough assessment. After the first weekend when my mom was kind of left alone to figure things out on her own, I stepped in and emailed the nurse. She called me and seemed a bit annoyed that I was requesting more help for mom. I patiently discussed the situation with her and we agreed to more care. I never received anything in writing. I think that would be helpfu..

reviewed on: 06/13/2013 by A Place For Mom CustomerGreat tour with Jeff. The Alzheimer's community had lots of activities. Observed an ongoing one that was excellent. Loved the fact that the community was right next to a skilled nursing center. Price may be the only drawback. Was the highest of those visited so far.
Friendly and accommodating staff!
reviewed on: 07/25/2014 by M VThings have gone well here so far! We're very pleased with the service, I'd give them high marks across the board. My loved one requires some extra attention, and they've been more than happy to work with us to accommodate her. They're open to suggestions, and always willing to bend over backwards to help.
Atria Glastonbury
reviewed on: 06/17/2020 by AnonymousThe community always seems very clean. The staff was very friendly. They really seemed to try to work with my mother and they seemed to make every effort to help her adjust to living here. Definitely a good value. I thought the staff were the nicest people. My mother has lived here long term, however my dad only ended up spending one night because of some health complications and the staff was very accommodating and compassionate. They ended up not charging us at all for his stay. We thought this was very kind.
Nice looking community!
reviewed on: 09/19/2014 by Loved oneI toured this community when I was looking into care options for a loved one. I actually toured a few different Emeritus communities, and I was impressed by the overall quality of all of their facilities that I saw. This community was well maintained, and I liked their policy about upgrading and renovating the rooms that new residents move into. I didn't end up selecting this specific Emeritus community due to location and logistics, but it was definitely somewhere I'd recommend looking into for other families.
