Community Reviews
The Orchards At Southington
reviewed on: 07/08/2020 by BillWe thought the community was extremely clean and the activities were well organized. They had outings for the residents like off-community lunches and we thought they were very well done. The staff were all very friendly and the meals were great. We had absolutely no complaints about our experience with The Orchards At Southington. They had many locations where people could sit and read and play games, get together with friends, and have space to be social within the community. Overall, very pleasant.
Good eperience at Orchange
reviewed on: 08/26/2020 by AnonymousSome activities they have for the residents are exercise classes, card games, and bingo. They have movie night, and wine tastings. The food could use some improvements, right now the residents are getting boxed meals due to COVID. This community is clean, a very well maintained environment. The rooms sizes are about average.
The Orchard
reviewed on: 08/11/2020 by CarolynWe chose this community because of the location. My favorite part about the community is the friendly staff. The food portion, quality, and the way it is served was not very good. There was also a lack of variety. The room sizes are good. I would recommend this facility to a friend or family member.
It's been wonderful!
reviewed on: 12/05/2013 by Grand-daughter in lawMy husbands grandparents moved here and it's been wonderful! Price-wise for what they offer it's great. It's very, very clean and has been wonderful! Everyone was very welcoming. It was a bit of a transition for them and for the first three days they checked in on them a lot and provided free lunch for us so we could be there with them for a while the first day, they were very accommodating. The food is very good and we have eaten with them a few times. They seem to have a lot of activities, his grandmother was very isolated and now is going on outings to walmart and the excersice class. They are very independent but it's nice to have the option for more care available if they need it, and it was nice that they were able to accept the veterans benefits.
Make it wider!
reviewed on: 11/08/2016 by AnonymousThe residents were out and being active when we went on our tour. Everyone seemed happy and pleasant. The staff was great and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the community. The only reason why we did not pick here is because my loved one is hard of seeing and there hallways were to narrow.
