Community Reviews
5 star family
reviewed on: 09/10/2020 by AnonymousWe chose Chevy Chase House because they were very welcoming, the director of nursing came to the hospital to see my mother and do an assessment and she was so amazing. Everybody here could not be any better. They have options on rooms, the more you spend the bigger room you get. My favorite part about this community is that it feels like family. Everyone here from the director to the staff members, they know the residents by name, their individual needs, and they go out of their way to do everything for their residents. All I have to do is call or text and they are there right away. The other thing they do that is very impressive was when we first got there I spent everyday there with my mother, going into the dining area, we just sat the two of us. They really pushed us to sit with other residents and get to know other people and make friends. It was really important to them.
Very thankful daughter

In the last years of her life, she was able to pursue an Art career she had done for over seventy years. The staff met her every need with love, compassion, and kindness. I would highly recommend Chevy Chase House to anyone who is looking for a wonderful for their loved one. Thank you, [name removed]
My tour review
reviewed on: 10/19/2021 by Nancy AThis community was nice but it was not a good fit for my love one. It was a little to urban and in a busy neighborhood. The tour guide was great.
Come and Live at Chevy Chase House!
reviewed on: 02/27/2020 by Charles M Free JrMy relative is slowly adjusting to living with new people and to all the amenities offered at Chevy Chase House. Her apartment is spacious and inviting, and she finds the meals mostly well prepared. Occasionally, there are a few food items that need improvement. The activities are plentiful and well received. Although the cost of residing at Chevy Chase House is quite high, she would definitely recommend living there.
Chevy Chase House: terribly run, poor care for mom
reviewed on: 01/07/2018 by Jean HoffmanTerrible experience with mom in Chevy Chase House. It was a dilemma whether to risk further disorienting mom, who had late stage dementia, by moving her to a better run assisted living facility or keep her in Ch Ch House, as her dementia and health worsened. In the end, we made it work with 24 hr private duty nurses, who took wonderful care of mom, in spite of the poor care and awful management at Ch Ch House. I would never recommend Ch Ch House under the current manager and ownership (different than when she moved in) and would never put a loved one there again.
