Nice looking place
reviewed on: 04/22/2014 by B KWe toured this community when we were looking into care options for my loved one. This was a nice looking place, the facility itself was clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed friendly. Our main concern here was that to get from her apartment to the common and dining areas would require walking through a covered outdoor area. We thought this might discourage her from getting out and about.
Care for parents
reviewed on: 03/15/2017 by AnonymousMy father is in this community. He was not happy here. He did not like that he was not able to sit with other residents at meal time. We wanted him to be more social with others. The community is very clean and taken care of at all times. He was taken care of on the personal side.
My Mother is Doing Great Here

reviewed on: 12/09/2020 by AnonymousWe chose Veranda Club at the time because we liked the way that the facility looked in the pictures that we saw. The room sizes here are decent. I wan to emphasize that the staff could do better with their customer service, when families are putting their loved ones into facilities they need top notch staff members. They present the facility pool to clients as a big pitch, but it is not used much and they do not clean it. It is something that residents are charged extra for which they should not be. Their maintenance does also take a while to come fix issues with apartments, I think for the price paid they need around the clock staff for issues that arise.

My dad and his S.O. were so happy to meet with residents there that they already knew from previous years. That helped a great deal in making a decision. The apartments were wonderful and the prices were very reasonable. There is remodeling going on at this time which is well needed. New carpeting and painting. I did notice a urine odor in the carpeting and I made sure I mentioned this. The lobby is not large or impressive but the other gathering areas were spacious. Making the right choice came down to where my dad and his S.O. would be comfortable.
