Didn't like their choice of TV shows for dementia patients
reviewed on: 10/16/2016 by AnonymousI visited when I was looking for someplace for my dad. They told me that most residents (even those not in the memory care unit) have some level of dementia, and I think the facilities and the staff are set up properly for that. The management seemed very educated on issues with dementia and the CNAs seemed pleasant, but I didn't see anyone interacting with the residents. What turned me off was the TV programs they were watching in the main area. Soap operas and news is what I saw, for people with dementia (which seemed to be everyone in the living room)? They say that people vote on what channel to watch, and I don't see how that can possibly result in appropriate shows for those who can't really express themselves. Things I choose for my dad have simple plots and sometimes some sort of physical comedy. He would zone out complete with soap operas and news.
Regal Park highly recommended
reviewed on: 12/02/2016 by AnonymousMy mother has lived at Regal Park for over a year now. She is very much loved and cared for. I suggest this place for anyone that wants their mom or dad to feel loved and to receives daily hugs. She is not just another number she really is treated like family. The staff there are very caring and very happy. They keep my mom very clean and they often give her manicures for free because she loves to receive hand massages and to get her nails manicured. I am at peace knowing my mom is in a safe place that acts like family and treats everyone like family..
Where have you guys been all my life?

Clean and homelike
reviewed on: 04/26/2016 by Samantha dockerWe really enjoyed visiting this community. This building has been completely renovated in the recent years and looks remarkable. The new finishes make the building feel homelike and welcoming, unlike other places we've toured. Btw the staff was great as well.
good and adequate
reviewed on: 10/23/2015 by AnonymousSeems good and a very adequate place. She can't participate in any activities because she has dementia. It is a little expensive for us, but it is the cheapest place we could find.
