Very professional staff
reviewed on: 11/19/2014 by AnonymousI assisted my aunt's placement at Willow Wood. She has only been there a few weeks, and I live in another state. After signing the agreement to take an apartment in the assisted living, my aunt (and her son) were reluctant to move. It was no fault of Willow Wood. I reached out numerous times to the staff there. I spoke with both the marketing person and the assisted living director many times. I found them to be extremely, compassionate, helpful and patient with my family. Once she moved there, my aunt had a few issues, typical for adjusting to a new environment. Called today and spoke with the director. She was very understanding and said she would immediately solve these issues. I am anxious to visit. My aunt bought new furniture and loves the way her apartment looks. Her apartment is huge for an assisted living facility. I was there five months ago for a second tour and thought the place was lovely and the lu nch was very good. My aunt was about to celebrate her 90th birthday and the dining staff came out with a dessert and sang Happy Birthday!

First Encounter
reviewed on: 12/31/2020 by David SchulsterI was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful setting for Willowood. Yeah doors are beautiful and easily accessible. I am in a wheelchair and was able to get everywhere easily. The apartments were well laid out and would become a comfortable home.I was greeted by Nandy. She was super helpful and assisted me by showing the apartments that were available. Each one has its high points. I was impressed by the careful consideration of the staff and residents in relation to the Covid problem. Everyone was wearing masks and maintaining social distance even the tables in the dining room where socially distanced. The rest of the staff that I met where Equally helpful and pleasant. My advocate Marshall told me about Willow Wood and it was all if not more than I expected. It was a pleasant, informative and very successful visit.
A view for my brother

His room is beautiful with a view over the lake which is what he wanted. The menu is wonderful and he likes knowing that they have great activities for him when he wants to participate. The is a beautiful community with great care and a good value that we would recommend to other families.
Very Impressed!
reviewed on: 08/14/2021 by Maryann IThis was my first visit to any senior living community. I was so impressed by the staff— everyone so friendly and helpful. I never expected so many choices of apartments and with such spacious floor plans and reasonable rates! Nor did I expect such an amazing variety of activities and entertainment, or to be able to dine on my own schedule! The list of amenities seems never ending! The facility is going to be a show place when the renovations are complete. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised when I visited Atria and look forward to returning.
