Community Reviews
Attentive Staff!!
reviewed on: 09/22/2017 by AnonymousMy mother has recently made the move into this community and so far we are pleased with how things are going for her. The staff seem to be accommodating her needs and I am comfortable with the care she is receiving. She seems to be fitting in very well with the other residents and is enjoying a few of the activities they have to offer. I like that she has a healthy appetite and says how good the meals are that the chef prepares them throughout the day. Overall it has been the perfect fit and we are all very happy.
Good community, but be cautious
reviewed on: 09/25/2020 by Brenda S LehoskyBefore COVID the care services were about a four out of five, the nurses were very attentive and good to our loved one. During COVID they did not allow any other medical services to enter the community like the podiatrist, so for that reason we decided to take our loved one out. They had a lot of activities beforehand, but since the virus the only activities the residents can do is step out into the hallway, do some stretches and go back into their rooms. They also would have to eat their meals in their rooms. Our loved one needed to be active due to his condition, but they were not allowed to go outside and take walks.
Home at the Peninsula
reviewed on: 02/13/2017 by Ana D GuevaraMy dad is at the Peninsula. I like how everyone on the staff knows the names of the residents. My dad loves the place. He feels at home. I appreciate the level of care from everyone at The Peninsula. It's like living in a 4 star hotel. Keep up the good work!
A great place for mom
reviewed on: 11/02/2020 by Diane NWe chose The Peninsula because after the tour, this was a place that I could see my mother in and I knew she would enjoy it. Her room size is very good, she is in a private studio and it is perfect for her needs. She is thrilled with the food and says it is very good. The best part about the community so far would be the activities director, she takes a special effort with my mom and they have formed a great relationship. I would definitely recommend this facility.
Other options for care
reviewed on: 07/10/2017 by AnonymousWe toured this community for the care for a friend. We did not like the appearance or and it did not have the atmosphere that we were looking for. My friend was not impressed. We did see a nice menu and the list of activities that are offered. We would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a loved one
