Community Reviews
Good community, but be cautious
reviewed on: 09/25/2020 by Brenda S LehoskyBefore COVID the care services were about a four out of five, the nurses were very attentive and good to our loved one. During COVID they did not allow any other medical services to enter the community like the podiatrist, so for that reason we decided to take our loved one out. They had a lot of activities beforehand, but since the virus the only activities the residents can do is step out into the hallway, do some stretches and go back into their rooms. They also would have to eat their meals in their rooms. Our loved one needed to be active due to his condition, but they were not allowed to go outside and take walks.
Excellent Care
reviewed on: 07/10/2021 by Ben DWe needed assistance caring for our elderly friend, who was experiencing difficulties coping with everyday activities on her own including memory issues. The Peninsula has provided an excellent program for giving her assistance with daily grooming, providing meals in a community setting, dispensing medications, following up with doctors visits, entertainment and much more. She told me she feels "like she is living in a resort". The management team at the Peninsula including [name removed] the Marketing Director, [name removed] ADM and [name removed] Resident Care Director along with her entire staff of nurses and aids are caring, very competent and dedicated to the wellbeing of their residents.
My tour review
reviewed on: 11/01/2021 by Michele BThe community that I went to first caught my attention so much that it made it hard when viewing other communities. This community did not seem to be better than my number one. The tour was great and they were very informative but I just had to go with my first choice.
Mom's stay at The Peninsula
reviewed on: 04/20/2019 by AnonymousWe recently place mom in the care of The Peninsula. Mom was in very poor health and passed away quickly. I would like to express our gratitude to the staff of The Peninsula for the excellent care, kind help and quality attention they gave my mom. In particular, we thank Pam, Alexa and Barbara for all the extra services they provided. We recommend The Peninsula to anyone looking to enhance the living environment of their family members in need.
I'd live there!
reviewed on: 06/23/2017 by Ed V.This place is beautiful! They've renovated nearly the entire building and the residents there seem to really like it. It's very different than a year ago. The new memory care area is really decorated nicely, very beachy and soothing. They did a great job! I'd recommend taking a look here. Everyone is very friendly and offers to help.
