Atria think twice
reviewed on: 01/12/2021 by Penny TrickWe did not have a good experience with Atria Park. I dropped my dad in on a Wednesday, on Friday he was in bed with his head and one arm out of the neck hole. He managed to get his arm next to his neck and he was like this for 1/2 a day, so the staff members were not checking on him or giving him medicine like they should have. He was also in the same clothing, with the bathing schedule they should have already bathed and showered him and they did not follow through with that. They have a tiered schedule, they put you at different levels of care and if you have to switch, its $400 more. I believe they mislabeled him for the money. He was here about 2 months and he only spent 5 days here. They agreed that they owed us a refund, they made the check out to him and it needed to be in a different name. When we asked them to reissue it they never did and we have never been refunded.
A Pretty Active Community
reviewed on: 11/15/2016 by AnonymousIt is great place and I have no problems, it was an easy transition. The staff do a very good job with the cleanliness. I do believe the staff are kind and and nice, very good with mt mother-in-law. She likes the meals, they got a lot on their menu. She is trying to participate in some activities, her room is nearby, I see that as a positive, most definitely. They try to have activities and to keep them occupied and for the day to go by. Also the family does not have to feel pressured about keeping them occupied. I choose this community because the location, it is close to the family.
My experience here has been good - more than I expected.
reviewed on: 06/07/2021 by Richard BIt's worth the money. It's not like an old folks home - it's more than that. It's the whole package. My laundry gets done, my apartment gets cleaned with carpets vacuumed and bed linens changed one day a week. Overall, it's a good package. The staff are good and very knowledgeable. I find them to be caring. The food is good overall, but it's the same old same old, chicken and fish. I'm a meat and potatoes person. Everything has a type of gravy on it and is overcooked. I know they're catering to older people, but it's not to my taste. They have plenty of activities if you want to get out there and do them I especially enjoy using the pool.
