Review of Augustine Landing - Jacksonville, FL

My Dad Loves Independent Living
reviewed on: 12/03/2013 by DaughterMy dad has been there for 6 weeks and he loves it there! He is not that difficult to please, but the service and the food are really good. He loves having someone come and do his bedding and towels and vacuum; he is really enjoying all of that. They do have activities, but he doesn't participate, he just likes the idea that they are available should he want them. He gets three meals a day in independent living, and he has a refrigerator, sink and microwave in his apartment. We went over Thanksgiving, and I thought that the place was lovely, and even for a studio, he has a lot of space.
Awesome Place - very pleased!
reviewed on: 07/11/2015 by AnonymousAmazing place. We spent time at other places nearby (Brookdale) and they paled in comparison to Augustine Landing. I would highly recommend this community to other families. We chose Augustine Landing for our loved one because of the long term staff, caring and comfortable environment, 24/7 Live in Managers, great food, cleanliness and beautiful rooms. For the price you cannot beat it. My mom is very happy and is thriving!
It was suppose to be temporary
reviewed on: 06/08/2021 by Dennis KWhen I moved to Augustine Landing I only planned on staying short term. I was gong to purchase another home. Once I was here, I loved it and it began to feel like home. I decided to make it permanent. I like it so much that I plan on setting up speaking engagements with Sales at various Clubs and Organizations I belong to to help promoter Augustine Landing.
Our Tour Experience
reviewed on: 08/17/2021 by DanaThe tour itself was fine, but they didn't start on time, which put me off schedule elsewhere and was kind of frustrating. Ultimately, it seemed like a very independent community, and I just didn’t think that they would be able to offer enough support for our loved one, who would probably more help in the future.
