Satisfied with My Mother Move
reviewed on: 06/13/2017 by AnonymousMy mother is still taking some time to adjust to her move to this community. However my family,and I am comfortable with her move here. The biggest concern for myself, was I'm not in the same state as her. So it is satisfying knowing she is safe, and in good hands. She has a good staff around all the time. She has gotten involved in some the activities they offer. We looked at a lot of community's in the area. The quality of lifestyle dropped, compared to this community. She is in a good community, and we would recommend it.
Perfect place for mom. She cannot live alone.
reviewed on: 12/27/2020 by Joyce FAtria Lady Lake is where my mom is living as of October 2020. Mom is in a safe place where she gets her meds, delicious food, and activities as well as caring staff. I call her daily and she loves the food-these are her statements “it is delicious”, “You will not believe what I had to eat-it was so good”. She gets to choose her meals and she loves that. Her laundry is done weekly and her apartment is cleaned. She now calls it her “condo”. She told me the staff “are so nice”. She is getting Physical Therapy and is getting stronger. She loves her weekly hair appointment. The staff are helpful and responsive. Peter, Philip, Andrea, Tony, Dawn, Mary, Kathy, Michelle, Ray, Derek, Cindy and others. Everyone has a joyful attitude and show they love what they do. I am so appreciative this is where mom is and that she loves being there. We were not looking for a place but mom could not travel and could not live alone. I highly recommend Atria Lady Lake. She does too!

reviewed on: 11/27/2016 by AnonymousSince Atria took over this facility they have lost staff and are not readily replacing them. This is causing tired staff and the result is a very disorganized facility. Food comes out slowly, sometimes cold and not always as stated on menu. Long term menus don't match daily menu and this is also true for the activities. No-one seems to know who is doing what. No computerized drug dispensing records. Nursing staff appears to be very caring although here again tired. Management will listen to you BUT don't really appear to take any action. No attention to detail.
