Contentment and Excellent Care
reviewed on: 03/27/2015 by DebbieMom was a resident at Bridgewater (assisted living) for two years before recently being transferred to Edgewater (nursing home) at the age of 96. She had formerly lived in a Manor for six years and spent a winter living in a Villa---all at Waterman Village. Mom loved living at Waterman Village. Eating dinner at The Lodge was the highlight of her life for several years. Most recently, the genuine caring of staff, combined with the needed medical help, have been most important. I am comfortable leaving Mom's care to staff when I return to my home in New York for periods of time, knowing that I will be kept apprised of any changes in her health or daily routine. I am grateful for Mom's contentment and excellent care at Waterman Village.
Live Your Best Life
reviewed on: 07/01/2020 by rabetIn 88 years, I have never lived in a more friendly place. All the residents greet. you with a smile and eagerly seek friendship with you. The staff all display their love of their job and can not do too much to assist you. The food is excellent. The library has an extensive inventory which has been most welcome during the Covid pandemic. A well equipped gym has also contributed to my overall rating. Most of all the Management could not be better!!!
Happiness at Waterman
reviewed on: 06/30/2020 by K. C. CiompiWe love Waterman’s ease of living. We enjoy the people, the amenities, and the services. Very comfortable lifestyle! We researched continuing care communities for 5 years and felt Waterman best met our needs. Each phase of our move in process was well guided & supported. We have been residents for a year and look forward to many more. Recommending Waterman is a no brainer!!! It’s a winner!
Depositor on a New Home in the New Lakeside Community at Waterman Village
reviewed on: 11/05/2021 by Ed and SusanSince we are not currently a resident at Waterman Village, it is a little premature for us to review and assess life at Waterman Village. We are a depositor on a condo home in the new Lakeside Community with hopes of being able to take occupancy in April, 2022. So far, our experience with the Marketing Team for Lakeside has been positive. They have been helpful and responded to all of our questions. We did attend the Octoberfest event at Waterman Village and enjoyed the delicious German meal. For us being a new depositor, it would have been nice to have had a table set aside for depositors so we could have sat with them and gotten to know who some of our neighbors will be. We're looking forward to the Christmas event where we'll be able to meet the other depositors.
Loving Life at Waterman
reviewed on: 07/01/2020 by Annamarie MaziekaI’m so very happy here. My husband passed away about 3 years ago and I was feeling a lot of isolation. But between my daughter and her family being right down the road and all the care here at Waterman, I made the perfect choice. I moved in the end of September and I have no regrets. The residents here are so friendly and all the staff go out of their way to do their very best. I especially like the fact that all of us are one big family.
