Highly recommend
reviewed on: 10/14/2021 by WayneWe looked around at quite a few places and this was the best place we could find. When my parents came and visited they fell in love with it and they are very happy here. Their apartment is very spacious, they have an end unit that is perfect for them. They really enjoy the food that is served. I would recommend to anyone looking.
Mom has everything she needs there.
reviewed on: 03/19/2015 by AnonymousMom has everything she needs there. She is getting a lot of hands on care. She takes part in activities and they [the staff] work with her. It's very nice. Her room has two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Gorgeous master bathroom and they [the staff] do all the cooking and cleaning for her. She's doing well there.
I would recommend
reviewed on: 07/06/2021 by anonymousWe chose Aston Gardens at the time because we liked that they had assisted living capabilities so down the road if she needs that, she will not have to move. Also they had availability right when we were needing it and gave us a good deal. My mom does say that she is not real keen on the food provided here. The apartment size that she has is perfect for what she needs. I would recommend to others looking and already have.

Only Ok
reviewed on: 04/21/2019 by Karen HallMy mother has been a resident for several years. I visit weekly and my takeaway is as follows: 1. Very clean 2. Pretty, well kept grounds 3. Transportation service is minimal. 1 day a week to Publix right next door. Residents are only permitted two bags each. This is an absolute joke. It’s nice that the van runs back and forth on the one designated day, the reality is if they don’t feel good or have other plans they are out of luck for another week. Two bags? Really? 4. The food is horrible and I would love to know where Aston Gardens found Chef Brad. I’ve eaten there many times with my mother and it’s horrible. Maybe chef brad is just doing the best he can with frozen prepared ingredients. 5. The security is a joke. My husband makes a game of calling the front desk when no one is at the gate, which is most of the time. He says he’s Jeffrey Damar, Ted Bundy etc..for a visit and the gate goes right up. ANYONE can get in with no question asked. The take away is, it’s a nice facility but the service itself is a joke. If I could I would move my mother somewhere else.
