Community Reviews
Feels Like Home!!
reviewed on: 09/14/2016 by AnonymousAll of the staff were super attentive with my father. The communication towards the family and my loved one was outstanding. I would highly recommend the community it was always well maintained and odorless. We were able to get my father in a room on the first floor which worked out perfectly. There are activities that are offered for the people that reside here.
Need more help!
reviewed on: 01/10/2017 by AnonymousInitially it was rough acclimating some due to the staff and some due to my parents. However, the staff has been super friendly and helpful. The food is a little bland, but I guess that it what they have to have. The community is nice and clean. The only thing I would say is that they are understaffed.
Seems to be housing more residents than staff
reviewed on: 12/05/2017 by AnonymousI toured here when looking for a place for my Step-Mom. It’s definitely an older facility and there are more residents than staff. But, they seem to be keeping the residents very active. They were cooking things in the kitchen when I went for the tour and the smell was permeating the entire building. The lady that showed me around was quite pushy. She kept calling even after I told her we decided not to go with them. From what I remember seeing, they had jigsaw puzzles and a few other activities they were able to provide to the residents. There were a lot of corners and hallways, being that it was older, but it was clean. I really appreciated that they spent a lot of time with me and told me everything I needed to know. I think bringing your family member here would be fine, you’d at least get your money’s worth.
My review of Harbor Chase

It has been fine, no problems so far.
reviewed on: 01/03/2014 by FamilyIt has been fine, no problems so far. They've been very accommodating. They've been really good. A place for mom has been more than helpful providing different resources to go to. We really appreciate what they've done for us. It's a real nice place. We found them to be friendly. We had a few meals they weren't the best but they aren't bad, they are pretty nutritious and they have a lot of choices. The responsiveness and communication in the billing department could use a little improvement. There are good activities. There's enough of a choice that she can do a book club instead of bingo. It takes a little while to get to her in the evening when she needs help. When we were down there and wondering what to do, and where to go A Place For Mom was a great resource.
