Wonderful Care makes a big difference
reviewed on: 11/12/2018 by AnonymousThis is a wonderful Assisted Living facility. We moved my mother here from Independent Living with additional scheduled care services. She had stopped participating in activities or going to the dining room. In hindsight, we see that she suffered from depression in addition to physical limitations. Since moving to Ivy Hall she has shown amazing improvement. She goes to the dining room and some activities. Her personality is back to her friendly, "people person" self. I took her picture after had her hair cut and sent it to my out of state children. My son's comment was, "she looks ten years younger than she did 6 months ago". That's how noticeable the improvement is. All because of her care and the family environment at Ivy Hall. The entire staff is personally involved with and supportive of the residents.
Best Of The Best!!
reviewed on: 09/27/2016 by AnonymousIvy Hall Assisted Living has been very attentive to the care needs for my mother. Most importantly it's a safe place with wonderful staff. The cleanliness and organization of the community is great. I have no complaints about anything the meals are nutritious and the portions are good. I really liked the manager, he was nice since the beginning and gave us a great deal.
Ivy Hall worked out great for us.
reviewed on: 10/26/2020 by KayMy Mother moved into Ivy Hall in June 2019. She enjoys the activities and she mentioned the camaraderie she has developed with some of the residents. The staff is responsive to her needs. Ivy Hall has worked out great for her and our family. During the COVID-19 restrictions, I believe the staff has done a good job to help the residents and families through a very, very difficult time.
Lovely Facility - Became Home Overnight For Mom
reviewed on: 04/15/2014 by AnonymousFrom the first time we walked in the door, my wife and I knew it would be a perfect place for my 89 year old mother. Becoming blind late in life presents many barriers, but the marketing team and management staff let us know that type of disability would not be an issue for them. When the Director of Nursing came to our house to evaluate my mother, she really took her time and observed as well as interviewed her. The level of service needed was not above what we thought we needed and that was a pleasant surprise; for that is one way that the cost could be prohibitive for us. The move in was seamless, my mother transitioned well into her new living quarters and I didn't see her again for hours until I got tired sitting there and decided to leave. I found her downstairs participating in activities she hadn't done in four years. She has been there over two weeks and the activities for her are just right and she really does enjoy her new life. The proof was definitive when she called my wife and thanked her for finding such a wonderful place for her. We enjoy visiting and when the nursing staff see us, they immediately give us an update without being prompted. They truly are wonderful caretakers and it is obvious they love their jobs.
Excellent experience
reviewed on: 10/30/2020 by Joanne KempMy Mom moved into Ivy Hall in April 2019. She had lived her entire life of 83 years on a farm in South GA. Moving was a HUGE deal for her and our family. When we visited Ivy Hall, it felt like the right place for her to live. She didn't want to live in a large facility. Due to her limited walking, she wanted all the facilities to be close. We found the perfect room at Ivy Hall. My Mom was an active participant in all the activities, often assisting Marianne, Activities Director. The staff took excellent care of her. Everyone there knew her name and spoke with her. She made some great friends with other residents. Unfortunately, my Mom became ill and passed away in February 2020. The care and compassion that the staff gave her in those last few days, while under hospice care, was beyond what was expected. My Mom loved the staff at Ivy Hall and they loved her back. I would highly recommend the facility for your loved one.
