Review of Towne Club
reviewed on: 08/29/2018 by AnonymousWe love it here! It is such a warm and welcoming place. My mother-in-law is thriving here. Before she same here her state of mind was not so good, but now she is so happy and always busy with activities.
Review of Towne Club Windermere
reviewed on: 05/07/2018 by CarolWhat a wonderful caring staff that has made a huge difference in my sister’s life. She moved from a group home in another state & had no interest in living. She spent most of very depressed and in bed. The staff at Towne Club provided outstanding care & encouraged which has resulted in a complete turn around. Now my sister participates in activities, interacts with other residents and works to improve her physical fitness. She even reading again. It’s truly a miracle and we know it’s all the staff we want to thank. Thanks for building a great team at Towne Club Windermere. You have saved my sister’s life!
Just the right place for mom!
reviewed on: 08/03/2017 by Dorothy S.Stopped by Towne Club with my mother when she was visiting from out of town. She fell in love with the place! The décor inside is beautiful! She was especially excited about all of the social activities they have like bridge, movies, live music, and water exercise. Most important to her was to be able to bring her beloved dog with her, and they even have a dog area for him! The friendly staff and pleasant residents made us feel at home when there. After looking at a few other properties, she decided this is the one for her!
Nice Community, Wonderful Administrator, Beware of the Food
reviewed on: 11/18/2020 by AnonymousDonna was wonderful, and the front desk staff were not as compassionate. I feel the front desk, could use more training on how to be patient, compassionate, and friendly towards the residents. I wish Donna could be in charge and having assistants in the three different areas of the community. The bathrooms were very low for the residents. I believe these should have been higher for residents. The vanity didn't have any drawers to put your personal belongings in. The only had doors under the sink for the residents to use. The new chef cooked with hot spices, and didn't listen to any of the dietary restrictions of the residents. The community was nice. JJ was great at keeping the residents entertained with activities and allowing the residents to laugh. The lock down changed the community experience for me. I left the community due to the meal experience. I thought the discount the community told me about would be for my entire stay. I never received my security deposit from the community, and thought I would be getting that back.
Very Nice And Expensive
reviewed on: 10/07/2016 by AnonymousThis was a very nice community and it was clean too. i mostly looked at the independent side and the residents seemed to enjoy themselves. It would be more beneficial for people who are active. The assisted living and memory care had no one there. They have luxury things like a pool and exercise room. The staff were very nice, they had a welcome sign for me and I left with a tray of cookies. It was too much and we did not need the extra things.
