Community Reviews
They have been excellent during this time
reviewed on: 03/08/2021 by Terry FWe would recommend this community to others, but they could at times use more staff. However, they have just been excellent, they stay in touch with us and during this weird time we can call at anytime and the overall communication has been excellent. Everyone has really done the best that they can.
Top notch Community!
reviewed on: 11/11/2019 by Andy FowlerMy mother was recently admitted to the memory unit at Ashton Manor . I couldn’t be more impressed with the staff and how the people who met my mother went out of their way to make her feel welcome . I was so worried that she wouldn’t like it and demand to go home but by the time I left she was happy and already settling in . The facility manager made the whole process of admitting my mother very simple and painless and the professionalism really impressed me . I work in healthcare and have seen first hand how some homes and the staff that work there operate and to say it leaves a lot to be desired is a understatement and that is definitely not the case here. The communication between me and them has from the start has been quick and pleasant. Any questions I had were quickly answered and communication in this sort of situation is important. I couldn’t be more happy with Ashton Manor and was very comfortable leaving my mother in their care.
Wouldn't Live Anywhere Else!
reviewed on: 11/07/2019 by Sandra D.I am a 3 1/2 year resident in the Independent Living community here. In January 2019 we've had a new owner and new management. Many upgrades have happened, not only to the buildings, but also to the staff. The level of care has notably improved, along with the food service and quality. The owner endeavors to hire staff at all levels that are experienced in senior care. It is true however that none of this happened overnight. The place was in very poor condition under the previous ownership. It has reasonably taken some months to get things on the path of improvement. At this point in time, I wouldn't live anywhere else. We really are one big happy family!
Excellent room sizes
reviewed on: 08/20/2020 by MuhammadAshton Manor is very clean, they have bingo for the residents. My mom was in the processes of moving in but then COVID hit, so she hasn't been able to fully move in yet. The room sizes are excellent, but did not have a kitchen inside. Overall great look, and we would recommend to a family or friend. Great location!
