  Unique Features

  "The original Yellow Brick House was built in the early 1920's by Dr. & Mrs. Stewart as their private residence. A physician in practice for forty years in the Lithonia area, Dr. Stewart kept his office in the basement of the home. He was the last "horse & buggy" doctor in Dekalb County, and the goodwill he created in the community still exists today. After his death in 1956, his widow, Mrs. Lena Stewart, continued to live in the home until an accident forced her to leave in 1986."
