Community Reviews
Nice place
reviewed on: 10/12/2015 by AnonymousOverall our experience with Atria Johnson Ferry has been a very good one! My only minor complaint is that I think some of the communication and administrative things could be handled better, but otherwise the people are very friendly and the facility itself is well kept and clean. It's a very nice place, overall!
Depends on the care that is needed.
reviewed on: 02/11/2014 by Family MemberIt was nice but, very pricey. We were paying a lot extra for her care, but she was unkempt and they were not taking her to the bathroom often enough. Her clothes were dirty and they never washed them on time. There was a lot of turnover. The way they assessed the monthly fees were so complicated, I couldn't tell what the charges were for. If your people are able to care for themselves I give them a four, but if they need personal care assistance I would give them a two.
Overall Good Experience
reviewed on: 02/09/2015 by AnonymousMy Mom fell soon after moving in. She was transported to another community for rehab. The overall care was good however her care rate was raised when she returned. The experience has been good since the community was clean and friendly and the value was good. The care services were outstanding. Mom is just starting to recover and is anxious to take part in the activities available.
I would recommend to others
reviewed on: 09/25/2020 by AnonymousPlace was very clean and staff pretty good. A bit more about the clients needs should be shared with the care givers so they have a better understanding of what's going on. My dad unfortunately passed away 6 wks after he became a resident - UNEXPECTED. But he showed signs and we were allowed to be at his bedside daily in PPE equipment Some technology issues that caused dad anxiety when door opener and pager did not seem to function properly. Difficult to tell staff to resident ratio, so don't know if they may have been understaffed. Attentive to all specific requests and sr personnel responsive to communication. They were a blessing being close to my home and able to take dad during this covid viruin time.,
We like it
reviewed on: 08/24/2017 by AnonymousThis community has a pretty garden and courtyard. The staff have been great with taking care of my friend and helping with their medication. My friend has started to participate in some of the daily activities and she is making friends. Her room is nice and they keep it clean. She is doing better since moving into this community and I would recommend taking a look at it.
