Great facility...!!!
reviewed on: 12/26/2016 by Wanda HearnMy 83-year old father recently spent the final days of his life at Savannah Court. Daddy was very reluctant to enter an assisted living facility. As it became increasingly more dangerous for my dad to live alone, it became urgent to place him in a nearby facility for his own safety and for our family's peace of mind. Savannah Court welcomed my dad with open arms. My dad, very surprised at how nice it everything was and how well the staff cared for him and he really enjoyed his time at Savannah Court. He told me several times that if he had known it was so nice, he would have agreed to move there sooner than he did. I had lunch with him several times while he was living here and the food was very good. I highly recommend Savannah Court...they did everything possible to insure that my father was well cared for...the staff and memories of this nice place will always live in my heart.
Daughter of Resident
reviewed on: 03/23/2016 by C. GriffethMy mother has been a resident at Savannah Court of Milledgeville for over two years. Since the new Executive Director was hired, I have seen improvements in many areas; most importantly in the level of care my mother receives. I am very satisfied with this facility.
Reasonably Priced But Basic
reviewed on: 01/30/2017 by AnonymousI was not impressed with the community and I felt that it was real basic. The woman who did the tour was nice. However I was not impressed with the staff having to look for a wheelchair. It was in their basement and took 20 minutes to get for us. There was not much of a common area and it looks just basic. It was the cheapest and closest but I was looking for something bigger. The little things didn't sit well with me.
Always Perfect!
reviewed on: 11/08/2016 by AnonymousWe were pleasantly surprised with this community. My loved one really did like it here. He said that the staff was great and they did a good job with him and they were very nice and patient. The food was good and we never had any complaints that we had to bring them.
Changes and improving
reviewed on: 03/22/2016 by AnonymousWhen my father was first place in memory care I had some concerns about the quality of the program. The organization noted these concerns and had a frequent change in personal. They have keep some great people like my father's nurse Brandy who he loves dearly and the maintenance director who has gone well beyond due to dads hygiene issues. Since my father has memory problems, I have to count on the staff to give me realistic facts on daily events. This gives me peace of mind for the first time in several years that he is safe. My father's lab work improved dramatically after six months. After dramatic weight lose he gained 14 lbs. The music therapy and Bible studies that my father is using for his cognitive therapy has made a significant intervention in his decline. With the new administration things continue to improve!
