Feel Like Family at Willow Lake Place
reviewed on: 02/19/2019 by ConstanceIn July 2018, I helped my ill, estranged brother find an assisted living facility. It was challenging because I was not knowledgeable in this arena. The Executive Director and Sales People were amazing. They guided me with knowledge, compassion, patience and caring. The residents are treated like family. The staff really cares about everyone. Even the Administrative Specialist who greets everyone as they arrive or leave is friendly, helpful and uplifting. I was a little skeptical at first, but this kindness and family attitude has continued as we start my brother's eighth month there. He has improved since he moved in because of this incredibly positive environment. There are monthly dinners that family members can join in for an evening of dinner together followed by music. Anyone who lives at Willow Lake Place is very fortunate to have such a beautiful facility surrounded by caring and loving people.
I would recommend
reviewed on: 05/17/2021 by anonymousOur experience was only for a week, but during that week the staff really did try to help us out and work with us. It was pricey but there are other communities in the area that are more expensive that do not give the residents the correct attention.
Good care when needed
reviewed on: 07/17/2017 by AnonymousWe were happy with the care that we received for the time we needed here. The staff were caring and attentive to the needs we needed at the time. The community is clean with nice enviroment. The meals were appealing. They do offer activities. We would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.
A great place to live.

They're not perfect but they're getting there!
reviewed on: 12/06/2017 by AnonymousI am very pleased with this facility thus far. The staff is working with my Mother and they are learning a lot about her and her needs. They have a great supportive administrative staff and they made it easy to work with all of the different people that are there. The only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is that not everyone is up to speed. They are not perfect, but they are getting there. The staff treats my mom well and they are very caring. The evening staff is tired and seems overworked. They still use an agency nursing staff at night and I would like to see them get fully staffed. For activities, they have things like bible study, exercise classes, church, and times where my mom can get her done. I have also been here during meal time and the food looks good with a lot of variety. They serve things like salmon, chicken, and steak. I would recommend this facility to other families.
