Community Reviews
Beautiful. . .with a helpful staff
reviewed on: 01/05/2016 by AnonymousTowne Centre is a beautiful facility. It reminds us of a grand old Hotel with it's quaint décor. The staff is attentive and helpful and the facility is always immaculate. They involve the residents in the going on's at this facility and I think that is great.
They have both good and bad aspects.
reviewed on: 07/22/2020 by AnonymousYou have to keep a close eye to make sure your loved one is being taken care of. We do not use their caregivers we bring in our own because we do not trust their caregivers. My sister and I go every day to visit. We have been there in the evening to visit my uncle in memory care and there was no one to let us out of the unit. They cleaned my grandmother's room one time and things were missing from her room. My Grandmother was told she could apply for VA benefits, we applied with the gentleman they gave us would help us free of charge. He wanted a donation in the amount she would be getting per month. He dropped the ball and he stopped working on it because we did not give the donation. He would not give us the password so we could complete the application. His name and information is still being given out by the community. The residence and wonderful and the place is clean.
A good place for the price!!!
reviewed on: 06/06/2016 by AnonymousMom started at this community in assisted living due to a fall but she is now in independent living and she is doing good. The food is decent and she has gained weight. The staff are trying to get her to participate in more of the activities offered. I Would recommend this community and it is clean and well taken care of.
I wish his health had allowed him to stay there longer.
reviewed on: 06/16/2021 by anonymousOverall, I think it was a great place. There was always somebody there to answer the phone, which I really liked. They were very pleasant. You can tell people liked their jobs, which really sets a nice tone for the culture. I would highly recommend them. My only frustration was communication with the nursing staff could have been better. They didn't always return calls right away, to myself as his caregiver or to other medical facilities. Sometimes it took a couple of days. Activities looked really interesting and fun. They really offered a lot, just some of the activities were not currently ongoing due to Covid. There were lots of little sitting areas to go and read. The entryway was a very spacious, three-story atrium, so it was very bright when you walked in. I was pleasantly surprised that it was the most reasonable of all the facilities I looked at.
The good and bad
reviewed on: 11/14/2018 by kim molineAlthough they do not offer many of the services you would expect (e.g. prescription drug help) she is quite pleased with the accommodations. She does not like the kitchen but rarely uses it since she has a kitchen of her own. Also, plenty of activities even if she doesn't utilize them.
