Amazing Staff and Well Furnished Community
reviewed on: 03/05/2021 by AmyThe staff was amazing! The community was very clean and well furnished. They could use some improvement on food and menu. The menu didn't sound appetizing and it is somewhat limited. They are able to accommodate some dietary restrictions.
Would recommend this community
reviewed on: 11/20/2020 by AnonymousThe care services at Via Christi are very good, and it is a very nice place. They five out newsletters to keep everyone up to date on what is going on. During special holidays they bring the residents little goody bags. We would definitely recommend this community.
Some extra costs....
reviewed on: 11/02/2017 by AnonymousMy sister and I were trying to find a good place for our mom to live when we found Via Christi. It seemed like a good fit almost right away. We had opportunities to look at other places but most of them were too expensive and some of them I didn’t get a good feeling for from the people I talked to on the phone. So when we found this place, it felt right. The staff seems to treat the residents well; they seem to communicate well and are knowledgeable about what they’re doing. Mom doesn’t like the food much, but I think that’s more of a personal preference than anything else. The facility itself seems to be a very clean place. One thing that bothers me, though, is that you sometimes have to pay extra for some services that seem to be included in the price at other places. For example, we will have to pay extra to have maintenance hang some of my mom’s pictures on the wall. There are plenty of activities for the residents to do and they’ve got a pretty good community room that they have a lot of them in, like bingo and local entertainers. They’ll take the residents out on field trip to the grocery store, shopping, and even to the casino, but I think you have to have a little more independence to be able to do that. Overall, I would recommend them to others.
