Community Reviews
In A Past Experience
reviewed on: 07/07/2017 by AnonymousMy loved one lived here for a few months. The only thing is they have employee turn overs really fast and the food was at a lower grade quality. For example hot dogs were served more than usual. It is a smaller community and it was cheaper. Overall it was okay and no complaints about the care.
Review of Bluegrass Assisted Living
reviewed on: 07/18/2019 by Elise WeggentonThey come pretty quick if we push our button for emergencies or problems. They take very good care of us and are friendly and kind. The food is very good and easy to eat (not tough).
Have an assessment done before going here
reviewed on: 04/26/2015 by Unhappy with being put in a rock and a hard placeMy experience with Bluegrass for my father was not evaluated before he was accepted into Bluegrass. We had to go out and buy furniture specifically for his stay and since he was not properly evaluated was told that we had to leave within 48 hrs which they did stretch out but we were required to hire a 24 hr sitter in addition to paying living expenses this was a major hardship moving him and having to take him back home. The staff was friendly and the place was clean but if he would have been refused acceptance because of his evaluation we could have been better prepared and went somewhere else . I have been told by several people NOW that they were out for the quick buck. Its nice if youre looking just for a home for the elderly requiring very basic assistance. Also we did have one of the staff members that didn't want to move from her chair and chose to grumble when asked for any assistance but the rest were very willing to help.
Explanation of my mothers care and her well-being.

Dallas Smith
reviewed on: 11/15/2016 by Brenda SmithMy husband and i were there for a little over a week and we never felt more at home. The staff were great! When we left we actually cried leaving the girls was so hard. They were so of the most compassionate and caring individuals that we have ever met! Shannon was great ! she even came in to help with my husband when i couldn't be there for him. Dallas died on October 26 th at home as he wanted to do and i am never more grateful for a bunch of people than i was those girls! thanks again for all your care and concern! When no other facility would even give my husband a try Bluegrass took us in and loved us as if we were their family!
