my experience
reviewed on: 12/03/2020 by Karen DWe thought the facility was nice but my parents were not happy with it. The privacy was not what they wanted, people would come into the rooms whenever they wanted without knocking and my parents didn't like that.
This place feels like home
reviewed on: 10/18/2017 by AnonymousThis is based solely off of a limited amount of exposure to the community. My brother was miserable where he was before; he needed a change, a new caregiver, and a new place to call home. When we moved him in here, we had hopes that he would be happier and he really is. The people are very welcoming, the residents and staff make it feel like home. It generally has a good vibe to it. The staff is knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. He requires a little more care than we originally thought but they’ve been great about helping us with that. The food is good and there are plenty of options. They have a menu that you can order what you want from. They take everyone out for lunches once a week and there are always lists of activities and occasional social events. They make an effort to get everyone involved. We’re paying a little bit more here and there are some things that aren’t included in the cost (like phone and cable) but he’s happier so I’m happy. Overall, I’d recommend them.
Understaffed
reviewed on: 10/12/2020 by AnonymousWe chose Willow creek in the beginning because it seemed like it was going to be a nice place for my parents, but it is not turning out to be. They are very understaffed here. They have one person running 2 floors and the floors have about 100 residents. I would not recommend the community.
