Beautiful Community
reviewed on: 08/29/2017 by AnonymousThe Atria Highland Crossing has a caring and friendly staff that is very welcoming to our family when we come to visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and very clean and well-kept. We had dined with my mom when she first moved in and we enjoyed the food. They have changed the chef since then so I'm hoping it is just as good or better. Although my mom is not one to participate in activities the staff does try to encourage the residents to engage in the activities. There is transportation available for the residents for outside excursions. They have patios and courtyards that are nicely landscaped. There is also a nice walkway for the residents to walk and stretch their legs. Mom is getting used to her room that we have decorated with her personal things. A big plus is that her sister also lives in this community. We would recommend this community to friends and family.
They are a five star care place!

They had music and wii bowling and things. They are an older place. They aren't a five star luxury place. They are a five star care place! They didn't have the nicest wallpaper, but they take great care of their people. It was on twelve acres of wooded land. I could take him outside. They had a menu to serve you food. I can't say enough good things about them I wish he would have been able to experience it longer. I never once saw anybody mistreated. They would call me if there was ever any issue. Just great!

The staff is awesome and several of the care givers have been very good with my mom even through some of her difficulties. The activities were perfect for my mother, just the right amount for her since she is requires some memory care and at times requires extra reminding. Definitely a good value.
I would recommend for independent living
reviewed on: 03/19/2021 by Amy RI could not rate Atria Highland Crossing high enough. It was a great fit for my dad when he was more independent. They did everything for him, they took him to dialysis, if he was weak they went ahead and brought meals to his room, or they would take him down if he wanted to go. They could not have been nicer, we were thrilled with it. During the pandemic they tried their hardest to keep residents busy with activities while they were on lock down. I would recommend for independent living.
Our Experience at Atria Highland Crossing
reviewed on: 05/14/2021 by KenOur loved one lived there for a little over a year. They were a good place. It was an older building, but they kept it clean. Our biggest issue was having to deal with them sending her to he hospital for little things the hospital can’t fix. They think the ER can fix things they can’t. So every time we went, they would run a Covid test, which was negative every time. The reason we moved her was because we were moving out of state.
