Community Reviews
Things are going well. The people here are super nice.
reviewed on: 06/19/2015 by Family MemberThings are going well. The people here are super nice. The facility is somewhat run down, and in need of repairs, though the new owners say they are renovating. The paint is chipping and there is mold on the ceiling. They are also in need of a new van. Over all though mom seems happy.
The Staff is Amazing!
reviewed on: 08/12/2013 by Transplant to New OrleansI'm happy with it. It is for high functioning individuals. The only people that get what I consider to be level 3 care are the charity cases. My husband does not get that level of care. I couldn't believe how cheap it was. I think it's a great value. Part of the reason it's so inexpensive is because your'e not getting that level of care. They're under new management and the manager does not understand what level of care they offer. Level 3 care is just not available there. The food is good and the activities are great. There is a lot of music and they'll show a movie. I enjoy it - I don't mind hanging out there at all. The staff is happy to work there. I could not praise the staff more hightly!
Toured
reviewed on: 05/03/2016 by AnonymousWe toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. HomeLife seemed like a nice place overall, although I don't think it would have been the best fit for us. It's a smaller community, and the facility itself is a bit older. It felt a little darker and more cramped than some of the newer places we saw. But the people here seemed awesome, all of the employees we met were very friendly.
Seeing the Location
reviewed on: 09/11/2017 by AnonymousI was not going to move in after seeing that they were not in a convenient location to my family. This would suit another person.
We are pretty satisfied with everything.
reviewed on: 12/18/2014 by AnonymousWe are pretty satisfied with everything. She is adjusting very well. They are very accommodating. People couldn't be nicer to her. It's pretty clean, and they pick up her laundry. The food is pretty good, and they always have an alternative. She is always going someplace, she has a busy social schedule. They really, really try, with everyone. We chose them for the atmosphere, everyone looked alert and alive. It was clean, but didn't look sterile like a hospital, it looked more like a hotel.
