Very Dated
reviewed on: 11/14/2013 by NieceHome Life in the Gardens was not very good. It was really dated and dusty. Recently, there was an incident on the news about how they dropped the property value down to lower their taxes. The person that gave the tour was nice, though, and her uncle owns the place.
Things are going well. The people here are super nice.
reviewed on: 06/19/2015 by Family MemberThings are going well. The people here are super nice. The facility is somewhat run down, and in need of repairs, though the new owners say they are renovating. The paint is chipping and there is mold on the ceiling. They are also in need of a new van. Over all though mom seems happy.
Helpful
reviewed on: 02/05/2016 by AnonymousThey are trying to be really helpful. I think it is really nice facility. I think that they could do a better job at onboarding new residents. They are kind of left to their own devices and I believe more attention and recognition is warranted. I would also like to know what the industry standard is for how often medication lists are updated. I know that they update them once a month here, but people have had a hard time getting lists of their loved ones medications. Don't get me wrong, the staff has bent over backwards to be nice to us. Overall, they have done a great job and I would use them again.
They treat you like family
reviewed on: 04/30/2015 by AnonymousThe HomeLife in the Gardens is very nice. They have Always been nothing but pleasant. If you have a problem they get it fixed in a timely matter. They treat you like family. I was also impressed by "A Place For Mom". They were very quick to help me out. I am very impressed and happy. Overall, the HomeLife in the Gardens is an excellent place! I would highly recommend this community to anyone searching for a 5 star home.
Toured
reviewed on: 05/03/2016 by AnonymousWe toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. HomeLife seemed like a nice place overall, although I don't think it would have been the best fit for us. It's a smaller community, and the facility itself is a bit older. It felt a little darker and more cramped than some of the newer places we saw. But the people here seemed awesome, all of the employees we met were very friendly.
