Community Reviews

Very Good Community, I Enjoyed My Tour

reviewed on: 09/14/2016 by Anonymous

I was very impressed with my tour of this community. This is a lovely community, and it was one of my top picks. The staff was very kind informative. The community looked great, everything was very nice and clean. It was a great experience. I was considering moving my father to this community.

I'm very impressed with the care at The Reserves

reviewed on: 08/25/2020 by Arlene

I live in FL and my sister lives in MA. Her daughter in law is in the medical field so she visited a lot of places and said The Reserve at East Long meadow was the best. We also chose it due to the price. My mom has a small apartment, its perfect size for her. She said the food is good, but during the virus they have had to eat in their rooms, so when the food gets delivered it is cold. My favorite part about this community so far has been that I think they do a great job taking care of their residents and they keep the family informed. During COVID, they kept us informed on how they were going about protecting the residents. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

We feel very secure with mother here

reviewed on: 06/02/2020 by Arlene Weagraff

I believe they are taking very good care of my mother, however, they do seem rather short staffed. As a result of this, a lot of times when she needs help, she has to wait for quite a long time. We partially solved this problem by getting her a standing chair. Sometimes she also misses the call for breakfast and doesn't have food until 9:30 am and then will get lunch again at 11:30 am. Other than that, they seem to be taking good care of her. We like the fact that they are taking her temperature every day during the Covid-19 pandemic. Most of the care giving staff is also quite friendly, however occasionally, there are ones that are less so. They also offer a variety of activities available for the residents and my mom has said they always have stuff going on. Overall, we are happy she is there. We don't think we could have found a better place for the price. If we had to do it over again, we would still move her in here!

A Work In Progress, But A Nice Community Overall

My father is doing okay here at this community. He recently returned for rehab back to the community. He is doing okay so far. It is a nice and clean, everything is very well maintained. The staff for the most part have helpful and kind. I know he is in safe community. I'am hoping with some more time he becomes more comfortable. It is still a work in progress, but this is a community I would recommend.
